☼ NWSA/SCYA WOMENS SAILING CONVENTION☼ Sponsored by the National Women’s Sailing Association & Southern California Yachting Association. Women with all levels of experience are welcome to attend. Various workshops covering anchoring, docking, basic sail trim, how to heave a line, knot know how’s, and many more workshops are offered. All the workshops are led by women, on and off the water. ☼ SANTA BARBARA SAIL AND DOCKSIDE PARTY ☼ Enjoy the
SLYC Santa Barbara Sail Day and Dockside Party with fellow yacht
club members. Depart SB
Harbor 1000 Hours; Sail in SB for the day. Gather on “Amigos” at
1730 Hours for dockside party. More info to come. |

| JULY 4th, 1200 Hours | ☼ AVILA BOAT PARADE and CHEESEBURGERS IN PARADISE☼ Decorate your boat for parade and line up at 1130 Hours in front of Cal Poly Pier. Parade in front of the Yacht Club, around Avila Pier in front of the beaches. This is a great way to spend July 4th, on the water and at the club with cheeseburgers. | |
| AUGUST 21st – 23rd |

CHANNEL ISLANDS CRUISE ☼ Depart Friday morning from
SB Harbor 1000 Hours, we will determine anchorage around Santa Cruz
Island depending on conditions. The anchorages are teeming with sea
life – great snorkeling, exploring, kayaking, or just hanging out.
Some members charter boats to
join this cruising event; so, for safety’s sake, you must
notify the Cruising Captain if you plan to sail.

NEWPORT BOAT SHOW & EXPLORE MARTHA’S VINEYARD ☼ One
of the largest and most prestigious boat shows, spans over seventeen
acres with multiple show sites in historic downtown Newport, Rhode
Island. Walk the docks
and admire a spectacular display of shiny new sailboats and
powerboats. Visit
Martha’s Vineyard, an island 7 miles off the coast of Massachusetts,
by Ferry. More details

☼ WINERY CRUISE to RASMUSSEN VINEYARDS, Paso Robles
☼ It is an exciting time of the year when grapes ready to become
wine. Come join your
fellow yacht club members for an afternoon of wine tasting at
Rasmussen Family Vineyards and Winery.
Enjoy tasting handcrafted wines on the crush patio looking at
the vineyard. |
